80K service - what parts please

Hello!

Would you know what serving my 80k Avensis T4 D4D needs?  .. It's a recent purchase and as yet I can't find accurate info online!

I plan on buying the parts / oils etc for a local mechanic to do ..

(and if you happen to know how to turn down the volume of the reversing "blip" "BLIP" BLEEEEEP" sound it would be awesome)!

Thanks in advance :biggrin::rolleyes:

Go into Toyota and get the genuine parts....should be air oil fuel and filters. And which ever oil your engine takes..check brake pad linings for excessive wear.fill/top up windscreen fluid and the same for the coolant.but then again your mechanic should know all this.

Many thanks Frank, that is much appreciated! So no biggie then, just a normal full service. I wondered if I could find 'the list' of jobs online anywhere..

Interesting you say genuine parts - is the Toyota Avensis so sensitive!

Definitely need disks and pads in a few thousand miles time, I can feel the lip .. I will get high quality ones and have them done whilst its in, even if a bit early.

Ciao4now!

There was a thread all about Toyota servicing and the revised schedules, might be worth checking out http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/174695-toyota-fixed-price-servicing-revised-service-schedules/#comment-1425278.

If you're in any doubt about your car's service history you'd be better to do the full service + schedule.

thanks Tom! I will check it out now .. :biggrin:

the car had 1 previous owner, full history showing regular 10k service intervals up to 70k miles .. will do the 'full' and whatever is scheduled I guess!
