I've never ever achieved the milages Toyota say you'll get!

The EU fuel consumption figures are obtained using standard laboratory testing regimes, and are only meant to be used as a comparison tool for comparing models.

They don't represent the consumption an owner may or may not get.

Manufacturers and dealers are legally only able to use the official EU fuel consumption figures when advertising and selling vehicles.

Unfortunately, we don't know whether Toyota GB even visits this forum, let alone reads posts...

At the risk of repeating myself (I can hear the groans already!), even when Toyota actually ask their customers...:

Hi Folks,

I thought that Toyota wouldn't be reading this forum but really they ought to. Don't think it's worth complaining to Toyota GB as I'm sure they have already had lots of complaints about this already. Maybe they might one day start offering a 17inch spare, who knows? The one thing I have noticed while on the subject of wheels, my previous Gen3 Prius had 17inch alloy wheels which got very easily kerbed even though I tried to park carefully. The 17inch wheels on my new Prius Excel don't seem to have this problem so it does seem that Toyota have managed to solve that problem. I just wonder if the 15inch alloy wheels are more like the old 17inch alloys regarding this? Has anyone with the new Prius with 15 inch alloys, found that they are easily scuffed/kerbed?

there is nothing stopping you buying a single 17" alloy albeit it will not be cheap.

Not by me!

My Gen 3 Prius with 15" still had pristine wheel trims when I traded it in at 60,000 miles.

My Gen 4 needs a new NSF trim because twice the auto park system managed to put full left lock in a couple of inches of travel while supposedly straightening up and put it into a high, rough kerb so quickly I didn't brake in time.  But at least it's cheaper to replace a trim.

I should say that usually the auto park is very good - don't know why it messed up on those two occasions.

Shame the auto park doesn't come with an 'oh, b****r' warning when that happens.

Doesn't need to - driver issued said warning automatically!

...  Sorry if you couldn't get the links to upload these images in my first post; they do arrive very quickly if clicked, and go into the Safari/downloads tab on my Mac.  ...

They do indeed download if they are clicked, however, the problem is the jpg (or jpeg) extension has been deleted when renamed (presumably).  If the files are renamed to add .jpg to the end they will then open.

To David, if you could rename the files on your computer, then edit your post to delete the current links, you can then upload the photos again which should then show inline without the need to download.  Hope that works.
