Anyone on here got a 2 without power steering, if so whats it like?? Never had a car without it before but drive a few corsas / 205s etc which didnt have it and to be honest pulling a 3 point turn or sommit was a pain the the butt!

Anyone not got it? Would you buy a 2 without it etc? opinions plz! cheers

I've had my p/s relay temp fail before and without powersteering isn't fun. It's fairly easy if you're travelling at speed. But slowy, or trying a 3point turn kills the arms... lol

I recently had a corsa courtesy car and the p/s on that was loads light than on my two... It has got power steering, because it's not REALLY heavy, just a litte bit.

I am under the impression that the UK spec coupe's and some early Rev1's only had P/S as an additional option...

Much like the Aircon and ABS options...

My Rev1 didn't have PS .. but I didn't need it ..

You'll only need PS if you have massive rims .. or are a wimp ..

is it possible to fit power steering from another car??

I would be putting 17" / 18" alloys on so dont want to have to take up body building to be able to drive the thing!

I dont have p/s and its fine, dont need big muscles which is just

aswell cos i aint got any!

Ive got 15" rev 2 wheels on mine and its no different to when it had

14" rims.

I have a 91 H plate UK spec GT-Tar that has all the toys, leather etc...but no PAS and to be honest it is fine to drive.....my Jap car has PAS and is obviously easier to drive but not neccessarily better !
