this may seem like a daft question but i,m picking up a 2000 plate vvti 140 tomorrow thats been lowered and was wondering if the suspension will fit my 2001 vvtli

As long as both are UK registered cars..yes, although the VVTi-L will have larger brakes.

Some imports from Japan have a different suspension from UK cars.

In some ways, Dave, it is a daft question, as you can buy a new set of progressive Eibach Pro Kit springs (30mm drop) for around £130 from an eBay seller in Germany. At that price, it makes no sense to fit old springs that may not last long before snapping.

Do you know what springs they are?. For example, Apex springs (which are linear) have been very popular over the last few years, because they were the cheapest at around £105. They have a 35mm drop, which is OK, as long as your shocks aren't "tired".

I had Toyota fit TTE (Toyota Team Europe) springs back in 2004. Now I've changed to the progressive Eibach's, the ride quality is much improved.

I'm not 100% sure what make they are all I know isbthey are red and when he did the springs he replaced all the shocks at the same time
