Is this an easy job?

I notice that there are not too many fins left on mine. Don't know where they've gone.

Tubes look ok and there doesn't appear to be any leaks.

Bought a pattern one from eBay - check carefully you get the correct one.

 

I cannot recall exactly what I did (I was about 7 years younger than now) but I don't recall any real problems. Bleeding the system of air afterwards was fun.

 

If in doubt a Haynes manual helps..

I have a Haynes manual on its way.

Hadn't thought about having to bleed the system.

I see that there are pattern rads on eBay for about £30.00.
