Hi, just bought my wife 2005 Aygo with only 24000 miles, lovely drive but no reversing light, tested bulb ok but no power, can anybody please tell me where the reverse switch is positioned on the gear box as that is my next obvious check, (need power to fit reverse sensors) any pics or wiring diagrams would be very helpful, thanks in advance

the location of the reverse light switch is on the front right

a quick test to try is to join the 2 terminals in the plug going to the reverse lights your lights should come on if they do come on its your switch at fault.

Thanks for the reply Mark, found the s/w and when I traced wires to grey connector on front of engine found they had come apart plugged back in and bingo!! Light working again couldn't believe my luck
