Shockers - Call me Suspicious ...

Hi,

Was looking at the price of replacement shockers and found that Toyota online and also the local  Toyota dealer were asking an average of £80 a piece, back or front.

They say they are OE factory parts, but those prices are comparable or less to most aftermarket part outlets.

Seems strange that virtually every other part from Toyota is at least double or more  in price to anywhere else, so makes me wonder if there is a catch ??

I agree, prices for parts at Toyota are crazy and even 'consumable' parts for my Corolla are more expensive than the same consumable for my parents Volvos and BMWs...which are marketed as much more premium brands.
