Hinge pin on the nearside tailgate hinge appears to be working it's way out, protruding further with each passing week.

So do I just hit it with some WD then a hammer and a block wood? "Drift" back in!

we had this on ours dont use WD40 as you will lubricate the hinge and the pin may slide out easier

just tap it back in when its dry ,maybe you could put a blob of hot glue in the hole at the end to stop

the pin from sliding out again

Did it with the WD, used a block of wood as a drift with a rubber mallet...

The WD should dry up, and I can always just do it again...
