is a Toyota Estima Emina 4wd any good in snow?

Hi, I have a Lucida 2wd at the moment and love it but I was looking at getting a estima emina 4wd as we live on a bad steep road to get out of in the snow, I was wondering if they were any good in the snow and ice please?

Probably do a bit better, but TBH Winter/Snow tyres and 2WD will destroy normal tyres and AWD/4WD :)

Yes, it might help...but it ain't a 4x4 in the traditional sense.!...ie Disco/Shogun/Landcruiser etc ..so improvement will be limited.

I've had a Estima 4x4 for 11years. I have mud and snow tyres. I must admit the awd works lovely in the snow in low gear auto. I would not be without it. I love it so I would buy another.  2.2tdi auto 1999 diesel.
