my auris hybrid tourer booklet 2013 states 5yrs 60,000 warranty i always understood this to be 100,000 and the Battery 8years 100,000

The Toyota GB new car warranty is 5 years/100,000 miles. Hybrids bought new between 1st July 2010 and 31st March 2014 also have a hybrid component warranty of 5 years/100,000 miles and a hybrid Battery warranty of 8 years/100,000 miles - see https://www.toyota.co.uk/caring-for-your-toyota/warranty/toyota-warranty.json

Warranty terms and conditions are usually contained within the Service and Warranty booklet. In my Service and Warranty booklet, page 5 details the warranties applicable to Europe, and page 6 details the warranties applicable to the UK.

This is realy strange as my booklet states on page 5 5 yr 60k hybrid 3 yr 60 k comp 3 yr surface rust 13 yr corrosion perforation not at all what the website says as car was registered 30-9-13

Yes it basically says the same terms but this seems to relate to cars registered before may 2010 very odd as everything you've said and what official website says points to 5 yr 100k vehicle perhaps an earlier book not updated terms!

For a while, Toyota GB issued a supplementary sleeve for the Service and Warranty booklet which showed the different warranties applicable to UK models - this presumably saved them having to replace 1000's of booklets.

My 2012 Auris was issued with the Service and Warranty booklet and sleeve. Perhaps your sleeve has gone missing.

Thanks for that I assume though vehicle is still covered under revised conditions as there was no sleeve when I purchased from dealers
