How fast is the Yaris T-Sport capable of anyway?

In terms of BHP, how much can it get tuned to?

Just really curious at how fast this little nipper is capable of

Think jaxx has around 121bhp and Yaris WRC has crazy amounts of power i think! Miss T-Sport could be getting a turbo soon 2! SuperRetard wos lookin at turbo's also and is continuing his search i think!

Cheers

P.S my 1 litre has hit an indicated 110mph

I think Yaris WRC won't stop 'til he hits 200bhp... The Yashio Factory Vitz is a steady 160bhp... the Vitz RS Turbo (Japan-only) and Yaris Turbo (Switzerland and Germany) are both just shy of 150bhp straight from the factory!

So how much does Yaris WRC actually have right now then?

Does anyone know?

I've found mine can quite easily reach 110 without a struggle, after that it slowly creeps up to 120.

In terms of BHP, I would guess 120BHP max from a non-turbo'd engine. With new exhaust and manifold, lighter flywheel, air induction kit, etc, etc.

I'm not a fan of turbo'ing non-turbo cars. The engine, and gearbox just weren't designed for it, and wear and tear will be much greater. Anyway for the price of the turbo I'd rather take that money and put it towards a new car which is faster anyway.

Non Turbo engine i think you could still be looking at a lot of power.

Dont forget all the head work and racing cams and you could probably increase the displacement to around 1700cc, then get a fully map'able fuel management system with a fuel thirsty chip some stronger internals and hey presto, just dont froget the transmission brakes and suspension :P :P :P

Anythings possible just depends on how much your willing to spend i suppose

Yer Niz is right....

What I meant to put was 120bhp from the standard aftermarket mods. I'm surprised a 1ltr can hit 110 - unless it was downhill. I know they r good little motors but not that good! The 1.3 is wot? top speed 103/108 on paper?

Yeah Bolt on Mods id say 120bhp too,

im keeping my fingers crossed for 125bhp cos of my manifold and down pipe, some manifolds are 4 into 1 mine is 4-2 then the downpipe is 2-1, so im hoping this will give me that little extra

i believe socks, i hit 105, accidentally withought realisin in the 1 ltr, was overtaking a few ppl, my t sport can easily get 110 but never pushed it anymore i know it can keep going but dont see the point at the mo wen theres no need

I feel very "newbish" reading all the words you guys use such as "manifold" and "down pipe":unsure: as I don't really understand a single bit of it.

I guess when I do start driving, that'll all go away and I'll understand it better

youll pick it all up as you go along mate dont worry

You have two manifolds on your car, intake and exhaust:

Intake: splits air in to 4 chanels feeding each cylinder .

Exhaust: once the engine has done its business the exhaust manifold picks up the waste gasses from the 4 cylinders, it then links to the down pipe (runs almost verticaly and parellel to the back of your engine) which in turn links to the center section (runs along the bottom of your car) finally to the Back box which as you know is the sexy bity everyone likes to look at  .

Im no mechanic so my exlpnation is pretty lame but hope it kinda helps.

Niz

i read that the T-sport turbo has a longer final gear so it can potentially do more than normal t-sport. but 130mph is the fastest a t-sport can do until you either increase the REV limit to about 7500rpm then you could reach 150 mph is the car had enough power.

What about a T-sport with just a Cold Air Intake (AEM) and a Blitz TT muffler? I mean, how much power?
