Avensis TR rear light cover

I've managed to break the o/s rear clear plastic tail light cover without breaking the rest of the light - is the cover a separate part or integral with the rear light assembly.?

The car is a 2009 Avensis Estate

The lamps are only available as complete units:

81551-05260 for outer lamp in quarter panel

81581-05120 for inner lamp on tailgate

pretty sure that there is at least one 3rd party supplier making pattern front & rear lights for the original T27 (not for facelift yet) - will probably be cheaper than the oem Toyota part so it's worth getting prices on both.

& of course don't forget to check scrappies/salvage.

I checked the Euro Car Parts site and they cost £100.99 for the Valeo. Use a discount code quoted on the site to get cheaper. eBay are cheaper for the same Valeo item, or even cheaper secondhand, but still £50 plus! Still not cheap.

 Have managed to source one from eBay for £52.49 delivered which seemed as cheap as I could find. Thanks for all the helpful advice from members
