Reversing lights

My T180 had its MOT done today at local Toyota dealers. I mentioned my reverse lights had not been working for a while and if they can take a look as the bulbs look ok.

pick car up am told bulbs were blown and replaced went out checked not working still. Go back inside tell them they're not working. He tells me they must be as it's just passed its MOT and bulbs were blown. I said well first of all as far as I'm aware they're not part of MOT and secondly both bulbs blow straightaway so wandering if they even did replace them. Any ideas on what it could be please as bulbs are ok.

If the bulbs are ok, the first place to check is the switch in the transmission.

it was the switch in the end replaced under the extended warranty
