Gen 7 front brake calipers

Hi all. Does anyone know if they changed the spec of the front brake calipers between '99 and '06?

Ive got an 06 plate 1.8 vvti 140 with a seized front caliper, got sent a second hand replacement and the new caliper doesnt fit the old mount and the old brake pads dont fit the new mount... Was wondering if they maybe changed them to the same as the vvt Li brakes at some point.

The smaller size ( with 255mm discs) were fitted to the pre face lift 140, from 99-02. When the face lift was introduced in the Autumn of 2002, all Gen 7 models had the same size brakes with 275mm front discs.
