Will asian corolla parts work on my UK corolla?

Hi, 

Does anyone know if parts from an asian corolla will work on my corolla? 

I want to get an original turbo for my corolla d4d but it costs so much money (~£800), however, I am travelling to Pakistan in the next few weeks and was wondering if I were to purchase a turbo from there, would it work on my car? Is there a way of matching parts number, etc to ensure the parts are the same?

In Pakistan the D4D corolla is called the 2D Corolla, and im pretty sure its the same car, can anyone confirm this?

Yup parts are the same but corolla carry 2 differen types of turbo if it 2 ltr no need to get one from there its only £150 for a good second hand one
