That would be more 21st century!

My wishlist would be a cheaper version, something that would annoy an EV such as the BMW i3 (Leafs and Zoes are already catered for ...). It should be simple enough as the peak torque of a Yaris Hybrid is more than the i3 at 280Nm. I have 'seen' over 265Nm via the Torque pro App (assuming I have set it up correctly!) but it only lasts for 2 to 3 seconds - I assume software is protecting the Battery and inverters, etc. If the traction Battery is uprated (Lithium Ion - 1kWh??) together with the electrics, and AWD is added then it would get interesting with peak torque lasting 10 seconds!

I don't disagree with you and the idea had come up along those lines before the new car so it would work and be awesome fun and probably mind blowing.

New shots of the car at the ring, doesn't look bad in a 5dr but still like my 3drs better.
