Tyre pressure light

Hi I have a T180 and recently had the tyre pressure light illuminate. Checked the pressure and front tyre was low. Filled up and it's been fine since. This morning I could clearly see that one of the back tyres was really low. I expected the light to illuminate again but it didn't. Whilst at the petrol station I thought I'll check air in all the tyres 3 tyres were fine and it illuminated on all 3 by dropping the pressure and filling them up again. On that particular tyre it did not illuminate after I let the air out.

does this mean the sensor is faulty? Reading the manual it says if it's a faulty sensor it would flash on and off indicating a fault.

Alao are these covered by the Toyota warranty?

cheers

What year is your Rav4 - your profile shows a 2006 T180, so does it need updating - and are you asking about a Toyota new car warranty, a Toyota Approved Used warranty, or a Toyota extended warranty?

Hi it's an extended warranty from Toyota. Yes it's the T180. We have an SR too and that's fine.

its strange as on previous occasions the light has flashed continually if the sensors were faulty. Toyota are charging a silly amount IIRC correctly last time I had one replaced it was just over £80 and £54 for reprogramming to the car.  Really a ridiculous price and places like Kwik fit local to me don't have the machine for the Toyota ones.
