Hybrid pedals offset to left

I'm an average 5 11 but seem to find the Auris brake and accelerator pedals offset slightly to the left which is giving me a certain degree of knee ache as I have to angle my right leg to the left I didn't notice this at first but now after over a month with the car am finding a certain amount of discomfort just wondering has anyone else found this problem or it just me!

Compared with a manual gearbox, there is a difference. I would say after driving for a good couple of hours, i'm glad to get out and stretch my legs. Just wouldn't say that its because of the pedal position. Maybe I need to try moving the seat back a bit more.

Just a thought; could this be aggravated by the throttle pedal being (too) lightly sprung?

The throttle is very light, which helps make the car seem more zippy, but then your muscles are doing more work to maintain an attitude if they are not meeting a balancing resistance.
