Hi,

My Aygo won't start. At first I though battery's dead, but I've charged it now. Then I opened the fusebox behind the Battery, and found that one one the 50A main fuses were blown. I replaced this, but car still doesn't start.

Symptoms: When turning key to utility, everything electrical works in the car (radio, AC etc). When turning key to start engine, the whole car instantly goes black. Turning key back one step does nothing. After about a minute, electricity starts up once again. Anyone have good tips on how to solve this, or what could be wrong?

Has the fuse blown again, might be a short in the starter motor?

Can you bump it?

+1 on the starter!!!

The fuse didn't blow again after I replaced it, it just didn't make any difference before and after the replacement. I can't bump it (?) since it's an automatic. Thanks for the feedback!

Bump starting may damage the cat.
