Lines on sides

Hi! I have never seen plastic lines like these on celica sides before. Have you? What it says about this celica?

They are body mouldings - probably not original Toyota parts - designed to protect the doors from damage due to other people opening their doors against the Celica. Presumably the Celica owner doesn't want their doors dented ....

Hmmm. Talking about original parts, it has celica logo on it. It's not good looking for me, but I think it has already damaged paints/laquer behind it..

I didn't make any comment on whether they were good looking or well fitted, and having the Celica logo doesn't mean they are original equipment parts.

My guess would be it says that the owner is fed up with other drivers opening their doors onto it
