Hi fist time on here, not long got my first toyota which is a yaris 2004 1.3 vvti. im loving driving it but only have one issue with it and thats the original stereo i have a jvc stereo ready to fit which has steering wheel control compatability. I went on eBay and brought a harness to allow for steering wheel controls with the new stereo from sound dynamics when it came i proceeded to fit the stereo untill i found out the connection on the harness will not fit my wireing loom in my car. when i went and spoke to a local car audio store they have said they dont beleive i will be able to get a harness to fit my wireing in the car. im mainly wondering if anyone can give me any information on where to get one from etc. the default stereo is panasonic and iv included a pic of the connections the middle connection is the steering wheel controls. i have also included another picture showing the wires for the plugs if this helps

Iv since fitted it all as i realised i was bein an idiot and looking at the wrong plug the one it was supposted to be connected to wasnt the correct plug to my harness so i still had to hard wire it in place but got it working now :)

I cant include images as it would mean stripping the csr back down to get it working i had to cut the plastic around the plug becuase it wouldnt fit otherwise and it turned out the plug from the steering wheel control iso went into the top connection where the original volume controls sit along with the range screen etc there are 2 ways the 2 pins can go which u will need to fit them and check if it works as if it dont u will need to flip the connection around and fit it the other way hope this helps
