manual or automatic transmission?

have you manually calculated the fuel economy?

what sort of journeys do you do?

depending upon whether you got 50 or 60 miles & what you paid per litre that could be low 30s mpg. The DPNR equipped engines are thirstier because of that 5th injector but normally would return a bit more (maybe 36-38mpg or so) but it could also come down to the type of journey -  short urban journeys from cold at this time of year are going to be very poor e.g. it took my car ~7 miles on dual carriageway today to approach normal operating temperature.

Hi I have a 2.2 dcat t180 estate 2006 and the mpg is on 32 the best I've had is 34 on a long journey. Which is aweful! It's my first diesel and I've owned a  3.0 petrol which did similar mpg figures But I personally don't believe this computer I'm gonna try manually calculating it then see!

I am falling in love with the car though despite these mpg figures.

... Any one with a 2.2 dcat achieving more mpg?

09 D-Cat T180 estate. Never below 42.1 (unless pushed) that's now. best 49.2 on long run to kent, carefully! Generally I get 44-46 in summer. I live in the Peak District and all hills! I run premium diesel plus 2-stroke (mineral low ash) I think yours is very low mpg and would be really *issed if I got that! I do not use mine for short trips less than 10m and always gets up to temp so that helps I guess.
