06 Corolla - Possible to bypass immobilizer?

I have an 06 Corolla.  I have misplaced the key.  In the past I had the key copied at the hardware store, but the copies are solid metal without the chip and only open the doors.  Is there any way to bypass the immobilizer so I can use my spare keys until I find the original?

In short NO the system is fully integrated to the engine control unit and is designed so it cannot simply be bypassed.
