Hello guys.

Im hearing noises from the rear wheel(sgueaking) even if  not pushing the break.

Is it the breaks or something else?

There is a technical bulletin reference the issue #  CP-0046T-0512. The rear brake pads have been known to seize in the rear calipers, Toyota redesigned the pads and fitting to prevent the issue the part numbers for the modification are:

1 x 04466-74010 Pad set

1 x 04946-52080 kit, anti squeal shim

1 x 04948-52040 fitting kit, rear disc pads

If you plan to do the work yourself it might be worth just removing the pads, cleaning everything, grease the back of the pads and put it back together again. Make sure you put the pads back in the same place they came from.

If the pads are looking a bit worn chuck some new ones in and that should sort it out.

Craig.

Maybe a piece of grit, or metal debris, from the road had got trapped behind one of the pads...

Hy guys. i went to the service to make general service. Brake pads are good, but still making noise.

What can i do without taking off the wheels? I dont have any tools etc..

Is there any spray..cleaning stuff?

You need to take brakes apart to do the job properly. Spraying won't help especially if you get it on the friction material
