rav4 1995 2 questions

Hi,

Since half a year i own a rav4 3doors from 1995.
I just love that car but it has a problem.

My mechanic said its the flywheel or clutch might be wearing down.
He thinks this because when i accelerate under load it give a rattling noise.(where the pedals are )

This only happens underload when i press the gas pedal. When i maintain the same speed, the sound is gone.
I dont feel any slipping,vibration or anything wrong except the rattling.

Its not from the engine itself.
I can idle rev it with no ratling sound.
As soon as i press the clutch, the rattling is gone until i accelerate again.

So here are my 2 questions.

1) Does the 1995 manual have a single or double flywheel?

2)could that be the reason of the rattle? or something else.
