Help with auto headlamp set up

Explanation needed on "automatic high beam system". Trying to set up systems on new car Yaris Hybrid Excel and not sure about auto hi beam. Manual says with light sw on stalk on auto push stalk away from you (high beam position?) in this set up lights come on when dull with hi beam blue indicator lit. When reading online manual it also mentions a switch to the left of steering wheel. What position should this be in? When pressed at top it reveals red indication on switch with off written above it. What position should this be in for auto operation and should the blue hi beam panel indication go out when system automatically goes to dipped beam.
Hope this makes sense!

Apologies to Frostyballs who answered most of this in an earlier topic of mine. Suppose my main question is does blue hi bean indicator go off on dipped beam. I've just been out in dull weather and lights came on automatically but with main beam indication on. I thought beam would be dipped on a dull day.

UPDATE

After testing and checking all sorted now.

My problem was all my fault! I misread the car spec and thought auto dipping headlights was included in one of the packages I specified it wasn't. Fortunately I realised before going back to dealer.
