Yaris satNav

Tried to use the SatNav on my wife's 2015 Yaris Hybrid today.

We got the destination all set OK and the map was functioning all the time we were driving.  What we couldn't do was get any sound from the unit, i.e direction instructions.  We have pressed buttons and touched the screen but all to no avail.

Anyone any ideas please?

Press the "setup" cogs button

Then select "general"

Then select " Volume settings"

raise the sat nav announcements setting to your desired choice.

We had the same problem, when we picked up ours.

This is something I've actually flagged up to Toyota GB as even when it is functioning OK (and you can hear it) you get very little time to adjust the Nav volume in real time while an announcement is actually happening... (because it so quickly switches back to media volume - and it's the same control)
