Homologation?

Hello, I'm new here, How would I get a Homologation for a RAV 4 hybrid 2017 2.5lt ?

I'm in the UK but I'm looking for one with steering wheel on the left hand side.

have you asked Toyota or perhaps checked https://www.toyota-tech.eu ? If it's a European sourced vehicle I wouldn't have that that there would be an issue - there must be a way for European countries to interchange this info.

If the is supplied within the EU then it is the responsibility of the supplying market to provide Homologation paperwork so you would have to contact the customer relations department of where ever the car originated from, if the car is from outside the EU then there will not be an EU homologation and the car would have to pass a single vehicle type approval to be registered legally in the UK and I assume other EU markets would require something similar.

I'm thinking in Belgium, would I have to purchase the car first ? or can I set up a deal with the vendor to have this documentation prior purchasing?
