Clutch pedal problems

Hi,  my clutch pedal is not fully returning. I have had clutch and master slave cylinder replaced. However, while down looking at it the pedal moves side to side and I am able to push holding pin into place which straightens up rod when depressed. I gave the mechanic a master cylinder push rod clevis bush but there is no evidence of this and plenty of movement at this fitting. Does any one know if there is more than one bush or just the one..and how it's fitted.please help getting desperate no diagrams showing this part. Thanks
