Well was just about to fix the clock on the rolla for the dry joints inside, firstly there wasn't even a housing behind the clock so technically just the front plastic lens screen bit,and secondly couldn't see any part of the loom for connector behind it,iv attached some pics to see, looks like loom been cut off?

3rd picture is inside part of the loom lower down

thanks

Not quiet sure if you are just showing us the missing wiring or asking for help ?

From this ytube looks like the clocks wires come from the cable/connector  you show in pic2.

Also got a faint memory that not all cars were actually fitted with a clock, even though the housing was there ?

Was just surprised not to see the actual housing for the clock itself, just trying to figure out if it was actually fitted and removed by previous owner as I'd Wana put the clock in as it looks quite odd just having a blank screen, surely if I was just buy a second hand clock just a matter or finding a live wire and ground and then attaching the connector to it?

thanks

Yes, just pos and neg from the diagram in the Haynes manual.

My rolla has the later digital display panel, but feel sure I read  in this forum about those earlier model clocks not being fitted on some models, though its unusual not to find the unused connector nearby , it might be taped to some of thre lower wiring .

Short of a new one from MrT you might find something on eBay like this that you could retro fit into that blank module or space.

Quite right,in the 3rd picture you can see on left hand side a connector taped up thinking maybe it's that got 2 wires coming from it hopefully being pos and neg might be the original connector touch wood, most probably get the stock unit as rather keep motor standard form, hopefully find a breaker on eBay selling one,ta for the input.
