2006 toyota noah noise in engine and stutters at low speed

Just bought a 2006 toyota noah. It is making the attached noise when driving or even when I just start it. I have noticed that the engine is running a bit hot, so I may need to get the raidiator serviced. The noise is mainly heard when inside the vehicle. When I open the hood the noise of the engine masks this noise.

What could that noise be?

I also notice when I am driving at really low speeds, hardly giving it gas, it bucks/stutters a few times

"Noises" are often hard to define or locate.

There are many possibilities as to hot running and rough running...why not get a code read done...guessing can be expensive.!

Coolant level ok.?...no leaks.?...thermostat ok.?...rad cap ok.?....rough running maybe bad plug.?...bad coil pack.?...MAF.? (assuming petrol.?)

Process of elimination...Hence the code read.,..it may just point you in the right direction.
