The water coming out of my windscreen washer jets are very weak. The motor is running OK.  Is there a filter in the system ?  If there is where is it ? ( 2008 Prius)

Is there any residue in the bottom of the washer bottle that could be reducing the flow? A good clean out with a hose placed in the washer bottle may help flush any debris away

There are often Y-shaped one way valves in the washer hose just before the washer jets - possibly could be partially blocked or faulty.

Wife had same problem with her yaris.  Problem was partially blocked one way valve.  MrT did a temporary fix to get it through the MOT (ie. bypassed the one way valve).

You can get replacement valves from many sources and replace them yourself (if you can find them all). There could be more than one 'one way' valve in the line.

Thanks for the info , I found that the filters are clean ( in the bottom of the tank ) and water flow is strong up to the first  Y junction or is that a one way valve ?

I ran out of time.  I,ll have to remove the jets and clean them and check the valves. I did a quick search for jets and got a price of £104  ! !

Send Parts-King a personal message detailing your car (reg. no as a minimum) and what you want, and he will provide a price.

Tried Car Part King  doesn,t have washer jets on it,s list. I might not need them if I can clean the jets

I wonder if it's the same washer valve that fails on the Avensis. Apparently the valve, normally the drivers side, just clogs up if you use cheap washer fluid. I've had two replaced under the warranty and now only use quality washer fluid.

Not Car Part King.

Parts-King is one of our sponsors (Lindop Toyota).  Click on the envelope symbol to the left of your use name at the top right of a page, then 'compose new' and type 'Parts-King' in the 'To' box. Compose your message (include your Toyota model and reg.no.) and send. He'll come back to you with a price.

I searched for Parts-king . All I got was a laundry parts company.

Have you opened your message envelope and clicked to compose a new message?

When you start to type Parts-King, in the "To" field, Parts-King will appear below, just click on it. Screenshot below to help you.

Hope this helps.

The Y junctions are splitters but could have one way valves in them too.  One way valves are usually inline.  If you peer inside there is a small rubber flap which blocks the hole when the water tries to go the wrong way. Crud builds up on the downstream side of the flap and because it is a one way valve, you can't clean it out by back flushing.
