Using the power socket

I used my TomTom for the first time yesterday. I plugged it into the power outlet socket(cigarette lighter) which charged it as expected. However, when I tried to turn on the radio it would not start, so I unplugged the TomTom and the radio worked fine. Anyone else had these problems ?

I've had no similar issues with a TomTom. I use a non TomTom USB cable and a Belkin car twin USB adapter rather than the supplied adapter

Thanks for the reply. I spent an hour this afternoon trying to replicate the problem, with no success. Everything is working as it should.
