2.0D4-D DPF Question

How difficult is it to remove & clean, or replace the DPF on a 2010 Avensis with a  1AD-FTV  D4-D engine? With 60,000 miles on the clock (generally longish trips) how much longer would you expect it to last before needing to be replaced? Thanks in advance.

I have replaced my Yaris DPF around 60k miles and got the manufacturer to replace a new one. My advise is to use BP premium diesel if you wants to prolong the dpf life.

My Yaris is now at 110k miles and the DPF regen cycle is still above 500 miles if I use BP fuel. Any other fuel will regen around 150 to 200 miles.

I have seen figures quoted of typically from 80,000> but it's going to depend upon how the car has been used, fuelled & maintained.
