Well after 6 years I've traded in my 04 Corolla 1.6 T3 no real reason really just spotted this 2013 Yaris SR 1.33vvti 3DR in a local dealer and went for a look and it went from there.

I love my Toyota's as they do make great cars and love to go see them in motorsport.

So I have 2 Yaris's now my MK1 SR Sprint car and my new one, Happy Days!!

Just ordered my new wheel nuts and spigot rings, so I can put my 17'ch Corolla alloy's on to the Yaris, plus will need to give them a refurb first.

Well a quick wash today and wind deflectors on and put the SR Badge on the car too, don't know why Toyota stopped putting the sr badges on these. Next off to start refunding my 17inc TRD wheels.

Thanks Michael, they are great cars and I have loads of fun with all my Toyotas. The little blue sprint car is taking up a lot of my money at the mo, as its going into body shop in March and then straight into the gearbox place afterwards. There will me more bits for the black SR coming through the year tho.

Well it's been awhile but we have being moving home and starting new jobs so the cars have taken a back seat for now (no pun intended). Ordered my new sporty rear back box today so will hopefully get that on soon and do an oil change at the same time.

Won't the split into two outlets cause a reduction in flow and hence an increase in back pressure?

I've recently been dealing with an Austin 7 which has the exhaust reducing in diameter towards the rear. This increases the velocity of gas flow, reducing the pressure.

It seems those old guys knew a thing or two!

Well maybe it will and maybe it won't but we will see how it goes it's just a shame Toyota didnt do a BB as an extra like the old SR's when TTE went to Remus and asked them to make them some for the Starlet's and Corolla's back in the day. It will finish the back of the car off nice tho and it will gain a small growl too.
