I have a 1999 Camry 4 Cylinder with 34K miles. On cold start the Choke will not come on (the choke will not close). The choke will close after about a minitue of driving.

Does anybody out there have any solutions.

Thanks

Its unlikely that a 99 car would have a choke. On a car with Fuel Injection the ECU decides how much fuel the engine needs based on infomation it gets from various sensors on the engine. Toyota cars seem to run at around 1800 rpm when started from cold this then quickly settles back to around 850 rpm after a couple of minutes driving. If yours is behaving differently then I would suspect a sensor is not working as it should.

Thanks for the reply, I will take a look at the sensor.
