Recalls and TSBs

I see from the Toyota website that my Yaris is due for some rectification work (I haven't received a recall letter).

I can't work out from the DVSA website (what does a # mean in the VIN?) whether it's for the centre rear seat belt or suspension strut bearing (or both).

It's due for a service in the next couple of months, so I presume it'll be picked up then.

Will I get written confirmation that an inspection or work has been done in connection with the recall? It could be useful to confirm work's been done when I flog the car.

Toyota's recall checker will determine whether the car is due work either under an official DVSA recall or a Toyota voluntary service campaign. Under a recall one should get a letter from Toyota using owner information supplied by DVLA.  With a voluntary service campaign one may not get written confirmation from Toyota as they won't have access to owner information from DVLA, but it should be picked up as part of routine servicing.
