Induction Filter

anyone know if i can fit a universal induction filter to my 1.

8vvti avensis, if so is it an easy job or is there any mods that need to be done, i had a look under the bonnet and the air filter box seems to have loads of pipes and wires coming of it, was thinking of putting a universal induction filter that id seen on eBay for about £20, will i notice any improvement in acceleration, cheers

not sure u would see much change in performance with an air mod on its own and if u did it would be mid range acceleration ie 40-70 mph. the vvti engine has very good acceleration when the revs are upto 3000 rpm but with a super chip mod you would see the acceleration go up from 2000 rpm up. id go for new filter and injectors plus a super chip
