Has the Toyota used car finder just got worse?

Looks like Toyota have updated their used car finder recently. I personally prefer the old one for the following reasons.

  • Can't appear to be able to specify individual models like the old one, which means scrolling through model selections that have no interest to me.
  • Runs slower (could be just my outdated laptop though)
  • The size of the fonts and pictures are too big, which means more scrolling than the old one.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think it's a change for the worse?

If you switch to 'advanced search' (on the left side of the page below 'search for your approved Toyota') this enables one to filter one's search, and to search for specific models -

Sorry, I should have explained better. I meant to search for a specific model within a range, i.e. Aygo X-pression.

I could filter out all the models I was not interested in with the old finder, but even on the new 'advanced search', I can't seem to find the option to do this. Am I being a numpty and not looking hard enough?

No one can no longer search for specific trim leves. However, I've just done an advanced search within 50 miles of my postcode and narrowed the results down to 12 Aygos.

Used advanced search and the following filters:

Price 8K to 10K

Year 2014 to 2017 which will include any pre-reg with minimal miles

CO2 set to 95 in both boxes.

Air conditioning selected which knocks out the basic X.

Aygo selected as model.

Thanks for the reply FROSTYBALLS. I was racking my brain for the words 'trim level' lol.

Are you finding it slower to load lists of vehicles?

Not much, though we do have a fast broadband (up to 200mb on fibre optic broadband).
