Rear Shelf Speakers

I've got hold of a genuine rear shelf with the Speakers for my missus' 2005 mk1 - Will be installing it soon but was wondering if anyone here knows how the Toyota retro kit for this wires the Speakers?

Are the dash and front door Speakers wired in parallel on the two front channels and then the rear shelf on the back channel, or do they do it another way? If anyone has any wiring diagram of how the kit does it or how others have done it, that'd be great.

The car has the stock head unit.

Okay - Confused.

The shelf I've got doesn't fit the car, in fact the shelf in the car isn't big enough to accommodate Speakers. Did they change the design of the shelf? And presumably the mounting points?
