Touch & Go 2 speed audible warning

We've had our Yaris Excel a few months now and today I've noticed that the audible over the speed limit warning has stopped working. The speed limit indicator goes red but no audible warning. After reading earlier posts I checked in settings and warnings seem set at to on at 3 mph over limit. Are there any other setting where they could have been turned off accidentally? Didn't have built in sat nav on our old Yaris used a Garmin device. I think it's called resistance to change as I really miss the Garmin speed indicator and being able to see it without moving my head. I'll persevere though and master the Touch and Go.
