use some methane, wipe it off ya got yaself a nice clean window! :D

Hope you really meant Methylated spirits mate.

As the primary source of methane is from 'breaking wind' then it's not really practical to clean the windows like this..AND you'll have to wash the footprints off the bonnet afterwards.

Rich

( Yeah, meths on a cloth will clean and degrease the screen. )

LOL! Yeah, "windows cleaned by !Removed! power".

What the Hell were you polishing the windows with anyway? I use Autoglym Fast Glass or Mr Sheen glass cleaner when I'm feeling cheap.

You're supposed to be able to see outta that screen, y'know?

Windows cleaned by !Removed! power? Surely that will put a 'crack' in it!

On the subject of cleaner windscreens, (Albeit an old thread) any recommendations for a good screenwash? I was using Halfords ready mixe blue, then got the pink, thinking it would be better.. Just a diff colour for an extra quid, in my opinion!

They seem ok-ish, if it is bucketing down but seem a bit grubby if only used on lightly wet windscreen. I have PIAA wipers so they should be good but I think the fluid is letting them down a bit.

Perhaps the fact that PIAA's leave a coating behind means they work better with certain brands of screenwash, perhaps Halfords wash is tummy rubbish! Any ideas?
