YARIS 53 KEY FOB can not unlock/lock any doors

Can anyone provide some advice? My key fob can not unlock or lock my Yaris. Have tried both my key fobs.  Doors and boot can only be unlocked locked via key.  Have checked fuse 17.Yaris is a 53 plate

Remote system might need resyncing. This thread might help.

Have you checked the batteries in the key fobs?

This may sound strange but have you tried it in a different place?

 

There are a couple places I goto where something jams the remotes so I can't lock/unlock the car with the remotes even if I'm standing right next to it!

First time it happened I was like "Oh ****..." but when I got home I tried them again and they worked fine!
