Management Light

I have had a problem for nearly 2 years with my 2009 Auris TR 1.6 Valvematic which has defied all the experts. At about every 2000 miles the engine management light comes on and does not go off. The car has spent two separate days with a main dealer who tried everything under the sun to rectify the fault but without success. I have spoken to other Toyota specialists also without success. In the end out of sheer frustration I applied the old wives trick which often seems to work quite often with some electrical faults i.e. I disconnected the Battery for ten seconds. This action put the light out but it still comes on but at longer intervals, nearer 3500 miles. Anyone got any Ideas?

P0302. It took months later and a new post!

I have given suggestions - spark plugs/coil/cabling/injector/valves etc. I also asked what action has been taken, other than cancelling the EML.
Here is a note of caution, I took ownership of my 2009 Avensis Valvematic back in 2015. Then after buying an 14mm spark plug socket from Machine Mart, checked the spark plugs. They looked they were never changed since the car came out of the factory! See my post with photos -

Your car uses the same model of spark plugs as mine - Denso SC20HR11, even though the capacities are different. I bought them from a Toyota dealer on eBay as detailed in that post, but do a search yourself and also check for deals at EuroCarPart using their discount codes. Same for the coils.
Hopefully everything will be sorted.
