I'd say the drivers cars would be the later revisions, as they were better to drive... kind of makes sense.

Agreed, how can you "drive" a car if you don't know what it's doing :)

a bmw 7 series is safe to drive and you know what its doing but i wouldnt call that a drivers car, i think thats what he was meaning.

LOL - Jim, have you driven a later MR2 ??

no.... lol

Mr2 Turbos are very volatile in the wet no matter what revision. The suspension can easly be changed to better suit your preference..who runs with stock suspension these days anyway. The main feature the rev1 really needs is an LSD which was standard rev3+ and that is the only real downer imo on a rev1/2 handling wise.

i cant really say whats better, rev wise, or say that my car is better than any other, as iv only driven mine.

but, i love my rev 1, i love my mr2, and thats that. :)

I can't say what revision is better as there will always be pro's and con's for them all... but as long as we all like our own cars... hey... does it matter?! :P

I personally dont think 'drivers' cars have to be the easier drive.. You choose a RWD mid engine because you want some fun. The point that its a drivers car is that you have to learn it's limits and every little quirk in its personallity. Its not like an RS Escort where you just boot it everywhere.

Yeah baby, I got a Rev 1. It had those !Removed! stupid 14 inch rich tea biscuit wheels on it, and dsnt have pas either, but I quite like ma beast. I got 8x16 and 9x16 alloys on mine tho now, with 205/40's ad 245/45's on with Sapx T/A springs and shox kit. It don't hlaf understeer now ma, but am getting used to it, just gotta turn the wheel a bit more is all, but it goes round corners like a train now man!! And the steering ain't that heavy neway now the springs and stuff been greased up. I got PowerFlex anti-roll bar bushes on it too, but don't know if they make ne diff tho, but the old ones were well past their use by dat man!! They had more cracks than 100 brothels!!
