New Kid In The Block

Hi yaris lovers,

I am Ismael from Mauritius. I have a 1.0 L vitz (Yaris). There are some of the pics :

I have started modifying the interior initially and I will be thinking of the body kits soon. It's difficult to buy and import from abroad here. It will be better to make the kit locally and I am in the process of selecting appropriate kits.

I will like to get some advice from you. My suspension and springs are all original. A man proposed me to change my springs with him for shorter ones. He got his Yaris with shorter springs and this does not suit him. He stopped me the other day on the street and asked me if I will like to change my springs. I took his phone number and before I change, I will like to get some advice. Thanking you in advance.

Wat r the advantages and disadvantages??

Any feedback from my yaris will be welcomed.

Regards

Ismael

shorter springs won't do alot more than make your car sit lower, I can only assume from what you've said that the springs you're interested in are the SR/Tsport standards... which are 20mm lower than your 1.0....

in which case handling will improve slightly, cabin noise will increase, and your car will look a little lower...

If you really want proper suspension get -30 or -40mm springs with some nice shock absorbers, shocks are what makes the ride 'stiffer' and keeps you flatter in corners :)
