program a new key fob?!

Hi everyone, I used to drive a 09 IQ 1.0 with keyless. Just replace it with a 10 IQ 1.3 GRMN without keyless. It come with one key with remote and one key only.

I would like to make another one with remote. I try many ways that on the website .EG: key in /out open door close door ...etc

It seems these cant work on IQ for reprogram a new key.

Does anyone know how to program a new key and remoto into IQ?

I think you may have to ask Toyota to have this service done. I did a quick google search and it doesn't appear to be easy.

Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in here. (It is a pretty quiet forum.)

I am pretty certain that all 1.3 iQ's came with keyless as standard. What doe GRMN stand for?

So you have and ignition key hole next to the steering wheel and no Start (Push) Button?

There are various methods for key programming, some of which may work for some models. Eg

So it is either a case of trial and error to see whether any one method works, try an auto locksmith, or a Toyota dealer.

GRMN stands for 'Gazoo Racing tuned by Meister of Nuremburg'.

According to the Gazoo Racing website they did a limited run of 100 IQ GRMN's and a limited run of 100 IQ GRMN Superchargers.

The supercharger increased power to 120bhp.

Mine is none supercharger model.

 

I think the different from a normal manual 1.33 are:

 

suspension

 seat cover

sway bar

tachometer

 

I try the   "Programming New Keys" STEPS  before, not really work for IQ.

Any ideas?....

Yes you are right, there is no start Button and have a key hole near the steeing wheel
