Wing mirror cover removal

Had my brand new yaris for 1 day over 2 months, and some twonk clipped the wing mirror, smashed the clear indicator glass and popped off and scratched/chipped the wing mirror cover, no damage to the main unit or mirror itself though. It was jolly nice of them to stop and leave it on the roof i thought, shame they didn't leave a note for me to say thank you

I picked up a new cover and glass today, but when i put it back on i forgot to loot to see how to get the cover back off!

Anyone know of a guide for removing the cover?

Turns out it was easy enough, I put the edge of my door key in the join by the indicator(it was already scratched up so not worried about more damage)

puch forward steadily until you hear the plastic creek a bit and it just popped off, word of warning it will fly off, so be ready to catch it.

i feel better now my 2 month old car looks 2 months old again lol
