stearing wheel fluid

Hi  all I've just bought a Toyota hi lux twin cab pick up 2007 model automatic diesel 

It's had one owner from new and is very clean and been well looked after it has Been mot every 6 month by Toyota hence why I bought it

 

But I'm having one problem with it the stearing wheel is going tight and making a helish noise but then when I've looked the starring fluid was low and I'm topping it up daily now 

Is this common with this car or does anyone think there's a problem

Hi Sarah! I think you have a problem that needs attention. It is not normal to have to top up steering fluid very often, let alone daily! It sounds like you have a leak. As it has a good service record via Mr T I would get it back there pretty quick! Hope you get it sorted quickly n' keep us posted.
