Hi All,

Has anyone managed to get the mirror link to work on a Touch 2 media system?

I have a Samsung edge 7 so it should be supported according to the web site.

many thanks

Jason

Mirrorlink on a Touch head unit is only compatible with mirrorlink version 1.0 which is only supported by a few old Nokias, Samsung Galaxy S3 and few other old devices, modern devices use version 1.1 or higher which Toyota will not support as it allows functions they deem as unsafe to be accessed / viewed whilst driving.

In my last enquiry with Toyota the technical department said there was no further development planned for Touch units regarding Mirrorlink updates as it was no longer being supported suitably by Mirrorlink or phone manufacturers and other options where being "developed" but no further details where offered.
